Neti Pot instructions
Please follow these instructions while practicing neti.It will make your practice free from any dangers and help you achieve better results.
Take care of these points with jala neti
- Lean the head over sink
- Bend your neck so that your eye look upwards
- Insert conical tip of neti pot in your nostril
- Make sure that it is sealed properly
- Open your mouth and breadth slowly
- Adjust your head and neti pot so that water flows smoothly
- Stop when the half solution is flowed from your nostril to the sink
- Blow gently to clean water and muscus
- Repeat all the above steps feom other nostril
- Always drop a little solution on hand to check its temprature.It must be lukewarm
Dry your nose properly after neti
- Bend forward from waist.
- Make sure that nose tip is at lowest point.
- Now exhale 10 breadths(more emphasis on exhale)
- Blow your nose and clean with tissue paper.
You neti pot must meet these requirements
- Non fragile as in learning stages it slips out of hand
- Must have Capacity of more than 400 ml water
- Must not have small pores as Small pores are difficult to clean.
- Must be light weight for holding purposes
- Must have cone tip for plugging in nostril
